Ryo

Ryo is a Japanese artist who has started his art activities for children in the world since April 2023 while he works as a childcare worker and a caregiver.
Although he was born with color blindness, the birth of his own child brought him joy and colorful emotions which leads to one of his charms, the unique color expression that only he can create.
His hidden talent had been gradually blooming as he was moved by pure and free expressions of children through the activities as a childcare worker.
He mainly draws animals with the feelings of the moment and uses only colored pencils which he uses for expressive activities with children.
Through his art expression, he continues to send messages to children around the world that “value yourself”, “pave your own path in life”, and provide them with an opportunity and motivation to live strongly.

Ryoは現在も保育者・支援者を並行しながら2023年4月から世界中の子ども達に向け活動を始めた日本人アーティストだ。生まれつき色覚異常であるが、自身の子が誕生した事をきっかけに華やいだ感情が色彩を与え、彼にしか産み出せない色彩表現が魅力の一つになっている。
又保育者として子ども達との製作活動を通じて、純粋かつ自由でしがらみのない表現の数々に胸を打たれると共に自身に秘められていた才能が開花していった。
描く対象は主に動物でその時の想いや感情を子ども達との表現活動の際に使用していた色鉛筆のみを使い表現している。
表現を通して世界中の子ども達に向け、自分らしさをいつまでも大切にし、自身の人生を自ら切り開き、強く生きていく１つのきっかけや糧になれるよう発信し続けている。
